Buisness and divorce

    Hey could anyone give me advice. I have a salon which I lease from someone. I have a few girls in working but they are self employed. Currently I'm going through a divorce but my ex is now trying to claim money from the "Buisness" can he do this?im a sole trader.Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you. We were married when we took the lease on. Neither of us own the property.

    If you were legally married your partner certainly has a right to make a claim. You can seek legal advice or mediation. Those options can be expensive.
