Anyone know which course is best to train to be a legal secretary?

Hi

Does anyone know which course is best to train to be a legal secretary?
and what the requirements are to get a job in this field, ie how many words per minute typing speed is required? What other skills?

I have always worked within bookkeeping and accounting field, but want to have a career change as having a baby soon and want to retrain to get a different type of job (getting bored of doing same things as done so since left school) once the baby is older.

Because the courses are all expensive want to make sure I choose the most recognised course by employers.

Why not look at doing a F/T (1 year) or P/T (2 years), PGDipLaw, and at the same time take a typing course?

When I did my Medical Secretaries' course in our local college, they offered legal secretaries courses which also tied in typing/transcription and other word processing type courses through OCR.
