Does anybody know of a program which increases the pixels or resolutions of an image?

Yes, Genuine Fractals will resize images with no perceivable loss (within reason).

What is a genuine fractal, I have not heard of that before.

I know how to bump up the res on an image but I just assumed that you were allways going to loose detail when you blew up an image because you are making pixels where their were none before.
