Adwords thinks i'm in Wales, but I'm not!

I just happened to come across one of my adword ads, and noticed that it had 'Wales' written at the base, even though the company is based in Bristol?

At no point have I said where i'm based, so why has it decided i'm in Wales?

Is there any way of specifying to google what appears at the base of the ad? I notice some, if not all other ads seem to have no location at the base of the ad?

True, although as we work nationally, ideally I would not like place names pinned to the ads. Especially not if they're wrong.

That's weird, I see your ad and it says "Scotland".

I suspect Google thinks you (as a searcher) are in Wales.

That is weird, but now makes perfect sense. My BroadBand often appears to be coming from Wales (south wales).

So in fact it may well be Google being very clever, and targeting the users area?
