Speaking of the iPhone, are there any plans to introduce it to T-Mobile customers, Michael?

Hi Ant, unfortunately in the short term there is no plan to sell the i-phone. However with the merger with Orange i'm sure we'll end up with it in the not to distant future.

Hmmm, I've gotta say the HTC Hero as been nothing short of fantastic for me, it does everything i need to do. I had a play about with a BB Storm the other day and nearly threw it out the window - No offense to BB Storm fans (It's just not for me).

Anyway, I'm wondering do we know what cracking phones are coming out in the near future?

Is there anymore blinding technology coming out soon?

Unfortunately the 3000 minutes deal was signed off around november team, but it was found to be costing more than it was making so hence the powers that be pulled this.

The 1000 minute deal from what I've seen is the best on the market at that sort of level of minutes.

As for the merger the slim details I've been provided with are that the roadmap will allow us to turn on in network roaming around june/july so you should be able to use both networks. Don't hold me to this though!

    Hi

Just phoned my local T-Mobile friends and the T-Mobile shops do not offer that particular deal for business users. However they do offer G2 with nearly all the same benifits as yours for £29.00 +Vat . The only differance apart from price is you get unlimited calls not a 1000 mins
plus next day courier delivery should your G2 be faulty.
    Pleased I read your thread.
    Thankyou

Thanks for the insider tip about poss June/July! would be bloody fantastic if it happened! You say be able to use either network... Does that mean you will have to manually select between the two or happens automatically?

    thanks again

Simon - Yes the deal for £25.54 would be £43 instore or online, I can discount as sales manager.

The other deal is the business unlimited for £29. I have sent you a pm

As for the network roaming it should change automatic, essentially my understand is that the networks will allow anyone with a T-Mobile or Orange sim to use either mast.

I would say as the two companies are merging into one then it will be one whole network

We will probably become one network in the end but under current regulations we need to function as two seperate companies for at least 18 months from last October when we made the request.

We are allowed to take advantage of in network roaming etc, so that would be the 1st step on the roadmap. Details are a big vague at the moment, but i'd expect a more detailed plan to come into the public domain within 2 or 3 months.

Further to conversations about the merger, t-mobile and orange began trading as one company from the 1st april and expect to turn in network roaming around june/july time so if all goes well you should be able to use either network around then. Just a heads up for people on either network.
