Websites: what is the average cost of design / develop a WordPress site?

What would you charge to build a Tesla website replica for a different product? Just a ballpark figure.
It really depends on what you mean by a Tesla-style website.

If you’re talking about a similar design, animations, and user experience, I’d expect somewhere in the $3k–$10k range.

The price can vary quite a bit depending on who builds it. Agencies and development teams are usually on the higher end because they have more overhead, while an experienced freelancer can often do it for less.

The biggest factor is the functionality behind the site. What product are you looking to sell?

@Dev. Milon , many have come here with many claims. There have been endless discussions on the benefits and pitfalls of using Wordpress. Your arguments are not convincing especially as they don’t apply to the majority of Wordpress sites.

A small business with a brochure website does not need anything custom built. Wordpress and similar platforms are adequate. And can be built for a much smaller budget than the figures quoted here.

Also worth noting Wordpress development is very lucrative. Not building websites, themes and plugins can make you rich. And much easier than building custom websites.

I already provided a logical and technical explanation of my position. Simply saying you’ve built many Wordpress websites that handle thousands of users doesn’t really address the points I raised.

Different solutions fit different requirements, and anyone who wants to understand my reasoning can review the explanation I shared and decide for themselves.
All the best.
