I have to import our payroll onto sage and currently have all the year to date information, tax codes, deductions etc in separate excel spreadsheets.
Are there any Sage Payroll experts among you who can give me some help/guidance/advice about the easiest way to get all the info into sage...
Thanks for the help John. The payroll is not such an issue to be honest as it has only been used for 5 months and there are only 6 employees so not a big deal to recreate the information if needs be.
As for the Accounts, I am not sure that the copy on the system is a legitimate copy as she...
I am currently working for a client who has Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2011 which was installed by a previous bookkeeper. When she left she kept the discs and is no longer working for the company. I am concerned that if the laptop goes bang that I won't have the discs to reinstall if...
There will be just over 200 employees all monthly paid a salary, there will be a pension (although this will be changining to a new scheme as the company is in the process of changing owners) - there is the possibility of commission payments as well.

Many thanks in advance...
Having a completely brain dead moment today... for the purposes of supplying self employment figures to the Child Tax Credit people do I use the Net Profit before or after Tax is deducted?? Many thanks. :|

Respectfully, I am not lost with what I am doing. I have actually managed to resolve a number of issues that have been caused by someone elses errors.
The current weekly and monthly payroll is being calculated on the correct dates and all the tax and NI are correct...
The only thing that is...
Well, i have got the bottom of the problem.... not only is it not picking up the latest two employees but it is also bringing the wrong figures through which stated me thinking that it maybe on the wrong tax year...
Sure enough when I checked on the My Instant Payroll Tab it is showing the tax...

I am using Sage Instant Payroll for 10 employees where I only have 6 employees.
I did not set it up as have only taken these over from July. I have added a new employee this week and they are also not being included in the reports.. I can only guess that because it is the 2 most recent...
Please can you help. I am in the process of completing my year end accounts for a client and I need to do an accrual of the PAYE and NI due.
When I run the P11 NIC & PAYE reports in SAGE it only gives 4 of my 5 employees. I know that the missing employee has paid some Tax and NI during the...
Thanks for the replies.
Wizzard, I cannot delete the company as it is the default company and will not let me delete it.
David, what I want to do is change the inital set up from Charity to Standard in what SAGE calls "Select Business Type" in the set up wizard so that it applies the general...
