    keyword ranking

There is a really great udamy course by Alex Genadinik on seo which I'd recommend to get a greater insite. It really helped me with one of our sites.

Hows our peer-2-peer sports kit lending site looking?

Yep - the Adroll one is a bit of a monster on a smaller screen - though it does allow you to pick which cookies are selected when you click 'Learn More' something for us to look into a bit - our last one was simple yes/no consent bar which didn't intrude on the real estate.

Google looking more at visual appearance than before?

Google is starting to consider SSL on sites (and Chrome will be marking non SSL sites as insecure at some point soon) Also have the higher ranking sites been online longer than yours - also may be worth checking out their history on wayback machine

    Testers Wanted

I would use recapture on the form rather than a x+y box - we used to have that on a few sites and still got a shed load of spam.

Hows our peer-2-peer sports kit lending site looking?

First of all, thanks for the feedback so far - very useful. Very good point and I've now changed the code so you can view the full item without having to log in first. I'll look into that - we use Adroll for the pixel retargetting (the cookie consent pop-up is loaded from their site) and...

    SSL Certificate

SSL is becoming a must have for any site in the mighty G's eyes - we hosted with the same folks for years (old UKBF member - CS New Media for those who've been on here some time - now changed hands a couple of times ) with a free Let's Encrypt cert thrown in.

    Business Angels / Investors

Maybe have a look at something like Angels Den for guidance though to be honest, such a small investment is not going to be of any interest to an investor as it indicates that the total size of the market is way too small for the risk - this sounds like a friends and family level investment to...

Is it better to register a domain name and have hosting with two seperate companies?

I've used Easyspace before and what is intresting is for domains that I've been intrested in and never registered I then find out that out that they registered them in their name after about 6 months and put up the generic 'this domain is available for purchase' page. I now use mydomain.com in...
