    Whitepaper released

I know what you mean about technical jargon, but it is a technical paper. I'll take a look through.

    Which graph? I'll double check.

    Whitepaper released

Misses the intro and means I have to run off a stats report do count downloads rather than just look in analytics, but either or will work.

    Whitepaper released

We (Red Ant), have released a PDF on planning and creating a digital strategy today. I would love to get your feedback on it (I didn't write the profiles btw!). It can be found here: http://www.redant.co.uk/community/blogs/planning-and-creating-a-digital-strategy/ Hopefully for those of you...

SEO is all about how you have your Tea.!!

Thank you for your kind words KM-Tiger :-) There are many different ways that people pick things up. Personally that article wouldn't work for me either, but different strokes for different folks. I am glad you found it interesting Earl.

    Secpay

We use them consistently for our clients, not a problem for our company in over 5 years and in my time using them closer to 10 (touch wood!). Good service, reasonable price, pretty bang on all round. Plus also a good migration plan if you want to go to a more advanced service later on.

    What's wrong with the website?

Having a quick look, one thing that does stand out can you make the text darker? It's very hard to read at present, seems as if I am trying to view it through a piece of paper.

Open source CMS v Own code

I guess I should throw my tuppence worth in here. Open source / own code CMS I think we're coming into the 80:20 rule; 80% of all the websites companies on here will need should be able to be perfectly manageable over an open source CMS, probably out of the box, with just a little...

    Postcode Software...

I'll second postcode anywhere - I would personally (i.e. nought to do with my company), suggest avoiding QAS.

Recommend me a content management system

Not really, if read the post above yours from awebapart. There are lots of bits and pieces we can pull back and infer from the original post, in fact I'd go as far to say in that we could quite happily get rid of @ 80% of content management systems. Obviously there isn't enough to quote on...

Recommend me a content management system

Somewhat harsh Stuart. Before being able to go further some form of requirements listing would be needed, but for a few suggestions and Paul has said there is more than enough info.

Getting web designers to sign a NDA

Creo, One for the lawyers should the need arise. However since e-mails have been recognised as legally binding in contract law with suitable case material I would expect so. That said however, should I have felt the need to introduce and NDA into a relationship with another company I wouldn't...

Getting web designers to sign a NDA

For larger projects this is normal, no one should moan.

What will a web/designer creator give me over simply creating my own site

If things like that didn't make me feel like crying I'd be laughing! I'm sorry to be nasty, but sites like that one have placed themselves on a pedestal by what they are trying to achieve and the quality of that site is distinctly poor. > going back to lurking again now <
