    Frankly the world doesn't need any more marketing and managements consultants, sales gurus and all the rest of it. What we need in Britain is to get back to making things and providing services that people want and they will effectively sell themselves.

    You could come up with a stage name. Would Elton John, or Cliff Richard or David Bowie have been as successful if they had been Reg Dwight, Harry Webb or David Jones.

    Retailers How do you market your Business

    We have a website, ebay store, put out leaflets and have a sign on a main road. We are in several toursit brochures and online guides. We did used to go out to shows but it was a bit tiring and have the odd newspaper ad.

    The simple answer is to go to the Christmas markets and give a leflet with all your details to the stall holders. Cardiff started last Thursday and goes on to 23rd December.

    running online art gallery but using nick name instead of the real one.

    Banksie is a good example of a nickname and numerous pop and movies stars have changed their names because their original ones are the same as other peoples or they sound too bland.
