I know AVG always has good reviews - but I'm always of the mindset that you get what you pay for. Not sure I trust free software to protect my PC!!
Personally, I use McAfee - find it dead simple to use and doesn't use too many resources when doing a scan
This is probably going to sound a daft question, but have you ensured that your analytics code on the news page is set up correctly? Most of the time this is the reason this is why it collects no data.
As for the inbound links, you'll only know about them if a user has clicked on one of them -...
I could see this having a negative effect. The title of the page is usually the link that appears in Google; if this keeps changing everytime the Big G comes to index your site i'm guessing it will see it as the page changing significantly
Hi Matt
Like matt.chatterley we also sing Mailchimp's praises and use it on a regular basis for our own mailing lists (also administer client accounts). We love it as it gives loads of stats (we're geeky that way) such as the number of deliverable emails, unsubscribers, open rate, which links...

As for the Chrome browser debate, personally I use it as my primary everyday browser due to it being so lightweight and fast. Plus, with the added benefit of every tab being independent of the other (so if one tab crashes it wont kill...
just to throw my two pennies worth in, we've used Heart Internet reseller for a couple of years now. They're not the cheapest for domains granted, but for £30 a month for the reseller hosting it more than makes up for it (especially when they reply to support tickets within about 10 minutes!)
I wouldn't bother with the 'coming soon' line of text, but I would certainly not leave it blank with no page on there at all! At the very least, I would expect to put up business contact information, a bit about the company and some images.
Any reason for moving the .com to US servers? Are you...
Hi
There are three directors in our company, and over a period of time under the PAYE scheme have paid ourselves £47k after tax between the 3 of us, and paid HMRC £17k in PAYE and NIC.
A number of people seem to think that paying ourselve salaries upto the tax threshold and then paying...
If you're only going to be using broad generic terms such as 'house clearence' then you're more than like going to get queries for services that you don't do. If you're going to go for this approach, then don't forget to stock up your negative keywords for things you don't offer (eg; -fridges)
I used to work for Vodafone customer services a few years back, and you'll be surprised by how many people had the same issue. The large majority of people found that they had multiple entries of each contact in their address book
The success of the campaign all depends on a number of factors
How well it's written
The landing pages
how much time you have to dedicate to optimising
etc
A number of companies will tell about how bad PPC is for them, others with a well written campaign get huge returns on their investment.
