My business partner and I are setting up a day trip business, running trips to Theme parks, concerts, beaches its an idea we have been toying with for a few years but now decided to take the plunge.



We have bought domain, the website will be put up using a template from our other business.

The domain and business name is ticket tripper tickettripper.co.uk

I have designed a logo but i'm not 100 percent happy with it and would like some feedback, or if anyone could improve it we would offer some free theme park tickets once we are up and running

I've got to say this logo is pretty bland and could do with either a colour injection or a change of colours, as well as a change of font. For a company offering services related to theme parks/Stag and Hens dos etc, I can't help but think the logo should be more exciting. I am not a marketing expert but the logo does seem very bland for the type of service that you are offering. It would be good to incorporate a "fun" bus or other mode of transport in the logo as well. Good luck!!

I feel you've got a great starting point with your logo but feel that it could do with modernising - the lettering in particular. Also needs some vibrancy. Im thinking the same thing, it needs more colour as it does appear to be bland, I would like to keep the red/blue and incorporate a ticket in there, i was thinking about a coach shape ticket etc...I have never been handy at graphic design, good ideas but no skill!!!

We have also done some market research on our trips, comparing local and national competitors would these prices sound fair? We have priced our trips at least 10% cheaper than our local competition and we would still generate £500-£1000 profit per coach

I can see your thinking

It's a ticket

However you're not selling tickets, you're selling fun family days out and a logo that tells people exactly what they're getting is better...in my humble opinion

we will be providing tickets along with the trip (coach travel) so i think ticket tripper sounds good

Are the trips just going from coventry? I guess you don't have much local competition? Perhaps your logo isn't too important right now. What I would do is simplify the current logo a bit more so it stands out more. Perhaps make the text white or the area between the border and text white so it stands out and is a bit more readable.

I quite like the fun ticket idea, so I think it could work like that.

trips will be from coventry to start with, we have local competition, although we can provide the same trips at a lower cost, more regularly and more flexible
