One thing I do know about it is probably the biggest problem you could have is sorting out the visa side of it for relocating back in this country.No I have never had a Thai bride but I know the uk is very strict about letting thais in here.other countries like sweden,germany etc its a piece of cake.

You can't 'sell' Thai brides. The businesses that do get involved in this kind of thing locate ladies who want to get married and seek a better life in another country and put them in touch with men elsewhere.
I think it is fair to say that perhaps some of these agencies are honorable but most are simply exploiting vulnerable girls and taking easy money from lonely men.
Anyone entertaining thoughts of doing this and using phrases like 'is selling Thai brides profitable' is a disgraceful human being. This includes you and your friend.

If you are going down this route, why not offer a selection - a menu type thing, thai, russion, latvian, askabastain, where-on-earth-astain, makingitupastain - a bit like a take away menu. Then the 'punter' can pick what he is in the mood for. Maybe have 'selection packs' or 'take away variety buckets'. Maybe even a bargin bucket (you pays your money, and see what turns up). The options are endless.
However, I have to warn you that there are lots of 'businesses' out there doing the same thing - lots. Most of them are one-man-bands, drive 1970's bright green american lounge cars, and the 'business owners' wear purple suites and big purple hats, and are surrounded by 'the goods' on street corners (well they did when I used to watch Starskey and Hutch as a nipper).

Yeah have to agree its a great place for a holiday, amazing beaches,great food and the people are friendly too.Do have to keep your wits about you a little bit though.

I bought a bride from Malaysia which is all the same. for a fat old git like me weighing in at 18 stone, nearly 70 years of age, a bankrupt and failed businessman, living back at my mothers council house after another financial failure, I was astonished.
I got a nice looking bit aged 35. The minute she got here it was 'i nida money, i nida nice house, i nida diamond necklass'. I may as well have robbed a bank!
Good thing is though, until she gets the British passport, she can't leave me ;-) lol

As for leaving you..If she came in on a settelment visa (doubt it would have been a tourist or work visa as you are married) she can bugger of anytime she wants, and what's more she can get benefits depending if she has kids if so they will probably give her the nice house she wants.
Beware that if she is mixing with other Asian girls they will be giving her "wonderful advice"

Id stick to any Asian women already have the visa or stay in Europe getting one abroad is way to risky.

You need to be very VERY wary of how you describe this service. Some will say that you are only one step above those who traffick girls into this country to 'sell' to brothel keepers.
On the hand, your service (if done right, and legally) is a service that people will genuinely want to pay for. Not sure how you would do this - i.e. what would be the payment trigger, would you refund if girl chickened out, etc?
Also how will you advertise at the other end? You will (and I really am trying to be constructive) need to think of how to convey the advantages to the potential ladies, moreso than saying "British men will let you live with them for free and give you a british passport if you do whatever they want in bed".

I actually agree - I think that most people who have replied are (like me) taking the mic. The OP was proposing a business venture which, lets be honest, is one very small step away from human trafficing. I am sure if he went down this route, in any shape or form, there would be two people knocking on his door.
One would be the police (from various countries I would imagine), and the other would be from some very large men from overseas counties, asking why he is trying to get into their 'action' when they have the human trafficing business wrapped up.

My tip for buyers considering a 'catalogue' Thai Bride......... Don't be wasting your money on the featured ladies at the front of the catalogue.... go straight to the bargain page at the back, you'll pick up two for the price of one. Alright, they will probably have behavioural problems, but then I'd take that as a bonus 
Seriously though, I cannot believe that people even think its ok to 'sell' another person, no matter what it is tarted up as. Exploitation is rife in this sort of business, and anyone involved should be jailed imho.
