I am a landlord and will be pursuing my ex tenant via the small claims courts.

Can anyone advise on time limitations to pursue my claims ?

    Any help much appreciated.

I think you should be OK to issue the claim but before you do, may be worth doing some research to see if your debtor has the means to settle any claim issued or County Court Judgment registered against them. Sometimes getting the CCJ is the easy part, enforcing it is difficult...!

Do you know where your ex-tenant is living now and if they are in employment or if you have their bank details...? If you do have any or better all three, you stand a better chance of recovering something.

Let me know if you need any more advice or pointers and I'll see what I can do.
