My question is higlighted in bold if you want to skip down

I know this has been asked before but i just wanted to confirm. A company I am helping need to change their year end on Sage 50 (an old package not sure which version but it will not be pro or plus) so its 14 months. From searching I think this can be done in one of two ways:

    1) paying someone to do it (I mentioned this early last year and nothing progressed - so I guess they are not keen).

    2) close down for 12 months and then run another year end for the last two months, under the changed date. Is this possible :| on Sage 50 (basic package)? I don't want to advise them to run the year end for the first 12 if it isn't. I don't mind doing the legwork to merge the data. Then they can start afresh on the new date.

James, I've replied to your PM.

Running the year end again after 2 months is not an option as Sage is fixed at 12 month year ends so if you did try to run it again after 2 months it would not run the year end as at the end of the 2 months, it would run it at the end of the 12 months.
