Marketing1.net - Business Database? Is It A Scam?

Came across this site whilst browsing - www.marketing1.net

Site looked like the usual scam sites to begin with but when I downloaded the sample 50,000 contacts its exactly what I am looking for.

Just need to clarify if this is a scam or not as £250 early bird price discount is fantastic!

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think its a scam as the sample file does seem right, think its a virus of some sort

The price seems INCREDIBLY RIDICULOUSLY too low. Not just a bargain, but downright fishy. That says scam to me.

If something is worth £1,000 and someone is selling it for £500, that's a bargain. If they're selling it for £50, then something is wrong.

My McAfee security claimed the site was dodgy so I wouldn't count on it, at that price, to be safe.
