    Evening,

I have nearly finished my qualifications now (end of this year) and have been asked by a couple of members of my family to do their accounts for them when I am. I am looking into setting up some templates so that I am ready to go when I finish. I have drawn up template engagement letters and the like. I wonder if anyone could give me an example of a handover request? I have not seen one since I last worked in practice (it's been a while) and I know that alot of the paper documents we once requested are no longer used. Any help appreciated. I tried looking on the AAT website but I couldn't find any, which I thought was strange.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michelle

    Hi Michelle
The engagement letters etc are in the MIP area of MyAAT so until you get MIP status you can't get at them (not sure if they have a professional clearance letter though).

PM me your email address and I will send you what we use.

All letters of engagement, etc are on the AAT website. They are however in a hidden section only accessible by licensed members in practice. When you apply and if you get granted a license to practice you will then be granted access to them.

I don't believe there are any clearance letters though.

Drop me a pm of your email address and I will send you our standard one.
