    one point worth mentioning: it might be useful to add cron jobs to the user PHP-FPM is running under

    for example if it is www-data then:

    Code:
    crontab -u www-data -e
    otherwise you might experience permission problems which are hard to track with magento 2

    anyway keep up good stuff!

    I actually just configured FPM to run as the magento2 user in that article:

    Code:
    [php-fpm-backend]
    
    listen = '/var/run/php-fcgi-php-fpm-backend.sock'
    listen.allowed_clients = 127.0.0.1
    listen.owner = nginx
    listen.group = nginx
    listen.mode = 0660
    
    user = magento2
    group = magento2
