Accounting software supporting subscriptions, projects, and commissions

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I am looking for acounting software which also supports things like Subscriptions (eg. see when customer accounts expire, who needs to pay, etc) as well as things like managing things like commissions for referals/partners and monitoring payment made per project or per project-type (eg. design). I'm only after something which does not come with a subscription feee, etc. Do you know any software which can do the above?[/FONT]

Hi,

I doubt there is free software available which provides you with the management information you seem to require. You could possibly spend some time setting up the nominal codes to provide you with this. However, there are some fairly good deals to be had on online accountancy software, and would recommend Cleveraccounts. If you were to use Purpleaccounts as your accountant, this software would be provided free.

Are you looking at spending proper money on this? I know a system that will do all you want perfectly, but it ain't cheap.

The software does not have to be free, but I certainly don't want it to have any ongoing monthly or annual costs. Now, if I decide to upgrade to a newer version every 1, 2 or 5 years that's a different story.

Boxby: Regarding cost..well...I'm a one man band...so I don;t know how expensive you may mean by "expensive" but if it does exactly what I need I'm willing to see what's out there.

It would be prob £20K mark, it's built for big businesses, with high volumes and values of transactions.

if you go for an online system, you generally receive upgrades and support within a monthly fee. Cleveraccounts is £15 p/m

I don;t really have a lot of transactions and 20K is probablt far too much for such a small business. Which software are you referring to though?

I do not have a budget as such. It all comes down to value for money for me. could go up to 500 i think?

Go to the moneysoft website and look at money manager - we use it and find it does everything we want and at 79.95 is way within your budget.
