    Hi Guys/ Gals
    I am not sure if this is the right forum for me because I do not have a business but would like to start.

    In any case, my name is John and I am 47 years of age. I have recently been made redundant (again). I have 3 children, 1 dog, 1 hamster and 24 tropical fish.

    My hobbies include gardening, reading, model ship building, fish keeping and trying to stay sane :lol:

    Like I said, I am just looking at the site, but due to the fact that I do not have a business I am not sure if I should be here.

    Welcome,

    Do you really want to start a business? If so, then this just maybe the right place! What kind of business would you like to set up? How good and knowledgeable are you about gardening?

    I can't stand gardening esp mowing the lawn. I'd rather pay some one a tenner to come and mow it..........

    HI John,
    Although this forum is aimed at business owner/managers those with business experience who wish to share their knowledge and help other people make a go of things are more than welcome.

    Who knows, it may also encourage you to take the leap yourself!

    Hi Guys
    Thanks for your replies. I have a few ideas but need to do research first. One thing I am curious about are the sites that deal with 'Import/ Export'. While I take most 'business ideas' with a lot of sceptisism, I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has knowledge of this. I want to work from home. I am fed up working for someone else and then being laid off.

    Anyway, as this topic is the 'introduction' page, I will ask anymore questions in the proper place on this forum.
