Another website has taken images from my site and are using them on a eccomerce site, I seem to remember someone posting a preformatted letter/email that could be sent to the ISP hosting the site requesting them to remove the images anyone know where I can find it as I have not been able to locate it using search....

Someone hot linked to images on one of my sites. I just changed those images to ones that said 'I stole these images from...... Etc'. They stole my pages content too. That page is bringing in about 650 uniques to this site per month.

If you put a dodgy image, it could look bad on you as it links to your url.

It's an adsense blog. They obviously haven't seen it since I changed those images as it is still showing.

How did you ask the website owner to remove the pics? If it was in writing and you have evidence of them receiving the letter (recorded delivery, courier etc) then I would just send them an invoice for the use of each picture for the last 6 months, with a clearly defined time to pay. Also include a new letter detailing that they still do not have permission to use your pics and every day they do so will incur further charges. (Make sure you use a postage service that gives you proof of delivery - for something like this I'd never use Royal Mail, I'd use a courier and send to a specific named person with the proviso that only that person can sign for the letter.)
