    Hi Everyone,

    Does any one know of an email marketing software that actually track sign ups through third party websites from emails I send?

    I know there's the generic stuff that will track opens, unsubscribes, undeliverable, and track link through creatives, but I need a solution that will track signs ups from third party sites as a result of me sending out the creatives for that third party to my email database.

    Any ideas?

    Strictly speaking, once the email software has sent the emails to the recipients, its work is done. There are a number of ways to track clicks though, with a bit of clever tinkering with some form of Server side scripting language. Lets say, for the affiliate links, instead of sending the exact address, you sent a link like this;

    http://www.your-domain.com/refer.php?url=my_affiliate

    This script would know to forward the user to the link you would call "my_affiliate", and would also log the click through to a database or flat-file for you. Does this sound acceptable for what you're trying to accomplish?

    Thank you for your post.

    No, I don't think what you're proposing is what I'm looking for.

    Just say if I was doing email marketing via a CPA means, I want to track all the signs etc that result as a result of me sending out the email/creative to my prospects on behalf of the advertiser/merchant. I want to track all the CPA(sign ups) without having to rely on advertiser/merchant for feedback.

    It does some but not all of what you need.

    It tracks unsubscribes and undeliverables but NOT open rates.

    You can create tracking links, and can track signups through third party sites.

    If you have a database you wanted to import we'd need proof of origin, opt-in, IP datestamp before allowing you to upload over 100 a day.

    It may or maynot be what you're looking for. Sorry if it's not exact but it's pretty close.

    Let me know if you want an account setup to have a poke around the admin panel to really see if it's suitable or not.

    You know about Mail Ma$cot, this is the most notorious mailer on the web, has taken their rotation to another level. DP Mailer is not available on a website and there is little chance it will be. You can get it to contact on Skype, MSN, YMSG, or AOL at eDataKing.

    I suggest you take a look Interspire Email Marketing. I think all the things you need in there but just it's not free. So if you have budget, go for it.

    I think the best thing to do is to outsource your email marketing. There are companies that manage this type of thing and provide reports on virtually EVERYTHING you can think of (click through rates, unsubscribes etc etc.)

    I'm doing some market research at the moment into this type of thing and it would be great to get down your thoughts: surveymonkey.com/s/GoMyEmailsSurvey

    Go My Emails is another company that do this service, but they dont tie you into a contract like some of the others mentioned above.

    Depends what level of understanding you have keeping the control inhouse will give you a greater degree of command and control-lots of companies will take your money and do a half hearted job once they've been paid-Most good email marketing companies will train you proficiantly in the use of x or y system
