New Wordpress - Thumbs up or down?

Logged into Wordpress today, all changed.

I like the quick post function on the dashboard.
What else is new that i haven't discovered yet?
 
i cant work out
1) how to 'view my site' that used to be a simple button
2) how to ensure a new post goes direct to the front page, that was easy before too..
So bit of a thumbs down from me, although Im sure I will work these issues out soon...

Oooh - lots! Sticky posts, memory of certain settings such as images on upload/insert, auto upgrade (for self-hosted) and so on.

What does bug me is that their still on a release candidate - strikes me as brave to release it to wordpress.com
