I set up an innovative project showing young entrepreneurial spirit

Hi guys

I have been lurking for a while and thought this would be an ideal way/place to say hello and introduce myself (I understand there's the Intro section, but this is more interesting/on-topic).

My name is jellyellie and I'm an 18-year-old entrepreneur & published author (How Teenagers Think, White Ladder Press, 2007). When I was 13 I setup bluejackQ.com, the world's first and most authoritative website on bluejacking, which subsequently caught the attention of worldwide media and now has over 6.6million page views. I signed a publishing deal for my first book when I was 15, and now I speak to businesses about what it's like being a teenager today. I also inspire other young people to achieve their own successes, through my role as a Make Your Mark Ambassador, and at speaking engagements to students.

To coincide with Enterprise Week 2008 I launched a new website/project which I have no doubt will be as successful as my previous projects. It has already proved to a lot of visitors that young people today have the potential to be entrepreneurial - one of my main aims in the project is to get people supporting young entrepreneurs who are thinking outside of the box.

It's called YachtScribble.com - check it out and scribble for yourself.

(I'm always very mindful about adhering to forum rules and thought it would be OK to link to my project as it's related to Enterprise Week. If I have incorrectly assumed this please let me know.)

Thanks!

jellyellie

Will the scribbles come off the yacht as soon as it hits the water?

Yes, actually!

Without confidence you will get nowhere - and I understand the fine line between confidence and arrogance.

Great idea jellyellie - best of luck with it.

Wish my daughter (nearly 19) had your approach to life - can I send her to you for a couple of weeks for reprogramming?

Drop me a PM and I'll sort you out a free ad in the "gifts for under £5" section of Keep Christmas Cheap, if you'd like one
