Dropshipping info

I have an old customer who wants to setup a dropshipping based store for his kids and asked me to take a look for him.
Had a quick google and to be honest it's a minefield out there!!!

Does anyone know any reputable dropshippers in the uk?

i got told about a company that sounded legit, uk dropship i think there called type it into Google and have a look at there site, think it was £100 for the year for hosting and a complete site. NO seo in it though thats down to the customer.

Hi

www.puzzledrop.co.uk dropship er, puzzles, some of which are aimed at kids, and they are a reputable supplier.

http://www.hibba.co.uk/ is one, I haven't used them and they don't advertise that they dropship but I understand that they do and are well regarded, but like I say, I haven't had personal experience of them.

I visited hibba but they wanted a company registration number (I am a sole trader so don't have one ) and they wanted business references too.

I use puzzle drop - they have lots of 4D childrens puzzles

I also use http://www.atsdistribution.co.uk/

for childrens toys and watches

This conversation as got me thinking about setting up one of these dropship sites, will you let me know how you guys get on, if its worth it or not. cheers

"if it's worth it or not" is of no use to you at all. You could make a great success out of the same thing that someone else failed at.
2 people's opinion of putting plenty of hard work and effort into something will probably be totally different.

I've used hibba, but to be honest the margins are poor and they often retail cheaper than they dropship which is no help if they undercut you when you're trying to sell their products.

Hi Alan - fancy seeing you here - what you say here is true.

I don't have a dropshipping site as I prefer to only promote the products that I think will sell.

Apart from that - a shop full of thousands of products seems like a lot of work to me. If I'm going to put in the hours I would rather be doing what I want and not be tied to someone else's products.
