Secirity Checks On A Foreign Card

I have a customer wanting to purchase something over the phone and use an Australian visa credit card.

Delivery is to a UK address.

What security checks can I carry out on this.

The payment would be put through paypal virtual terminal.

It is not clear from Shaun's post what he does.

But I took him up on his offer and he showed me the system they use and sell. It was a obvious sales opportunity but a real real real eye opener and it helped me in this case. Thank you.

So if you are wondering about security checks etc for web sales send him a PM and let him know why.

(I have made this post without asking Shaun so if you are not happy Shaun PM me and I will edit it out)

No, that's not a problem Robert. I'm just glad I could shed some light on this situation for you. How did you get on after?

If I'm slow to replying, I'm a self confessed Big Brother fan. And it's the eviction as I type!

Resolved as far as I know but chargebacks can ALWAYS appear.

But at least by the time I sent the parcel out I felt I had done a level of checks that made me happy to post out.

PS You were going to send me an email on prices for the system.
