Hello,

Can I ask if anybody had any experience with X-Cart hosting which has been introduced by the compant few months ago (if I'm not mistaken)?

The thimg is that as a developer I'm also hosting some of my clients' stores. I've actually been very happy with X-Cart as a platform and considering moving to their new host and also hosting new stores there (their conditions seem very reasonable).

What was your experience (if any)? Should I go ahead with them or still stay with other hosting companies they recommend?

I've just had a look at the X-Cart offerings and cannot find any information on the facility they are hosted in (datacentre) or the level of support they provide. If a website is down at 4am on a Sunday are they going to be around to resolve it / respond to your email?

We have customers (and a member on here) that host X-Cart with us on our Linux Hosting Plans. All our servers are UK based & we have 24/7 technical support, 7 days a week. We can also provide a wide range of SSL certificates.

If a certain company is receiving good recommendations, then it is certainly worth looking into. That said, you should also have a look at other companies as a lot of hosts can offer x-cart hosting.

We personally have a quite a large amount of users utilising x-cart on our systems without any problems - done a lot of migrations to our platform too. If demographics is important to you, we have both UK and USA servers with 24x7 support via freephone, live online chat and email.

If you need any help or are considering migrating to a different host, then feel free to get in touch with me, I would be happy to help :)
