I would just like to know were I stand with this one, here is the story:
I was in Kavos, Corfu between 6th June and 20th.
Rang Orange from my friends phone on the 15th to get my roaming activated but lost my phone out the same night.
I couldn't get hold of anyone to cancel it until the 18th when I told my mother via msn to cancel my contract for me.
When I got home on the 20th I rang Orange straight up, got a replacement sim sent to me, new phone, same number etc.. and all is fine.
Got my bill yesterday and £90 of calls were made between losing my phone and cancelling it to a local Greek number (3069...... numbers) so it must have been found and used by a local.
I rang Orange last night and they told me to phone back monday morning and speak to the lost/stolen dept. about this.
Orange do have a record of me getting the roaming activated, but also have a record of my mother cancelling and myself requesting the new sim.
Am I going to have to pay for these calls or is there anything I can argue to try and get these cancelled off my bill?
