Cheeky I know!

I am playing about with the design of a new logo (for our new online shop) and I want a couple of reptile / lizard / snake vectors to play around with.

If you have any that you dont mind me using, please email to [email protected]

Also after any recommendations for vector image libraries (CDs) (not clipart!)

Thanks a lot

Gary

You do know it's extremely unlikely you'll be able to use clipart/pre-existing vector artwork in a logo, legally? Vector libraries are used to enhance sites/embelish print projects etc but the terms and conditions usually specifically state that the use of the images in logos/branding is expressly forbidden. :)

I do indeed, just really playing around with placement etc, trying to get a concept together.

Are you on msn messenger? If so please add [email protected] as i MAY have a job for you if you are interested?

.

You see this is where a little knowledge can be dangerous....

you could try http://www.openclipart.org/ they may have such an image (as in free).
Do they allow the use in logos? I severely doubt it.

Or I would have a look at www.istockphoto.com and have a look there, they charge just under a £1 for an image.
I know for a fact that they don't allow use in logos.

Failing that... import a bitmap image that you have of a reptile (HINT: Google Images), then use trace bitmap to turn the image into vectors (using potrace)
NO! This would be a 'derivative work' and illegal.

Please allow graphic designers to advise on graphic design matters before you get someone in jail! :p
