I guess, when you add up all the costs... A basic pitch isn't too bad, but once you add electricity, lighting, stand dressings, data pen and all the other bits and pieces, it doesn't half add up.
Great exhibition though - I went last year (well, we were exhibiting at Internet World) and some of the seminars were really good. This year Drayton Bird is giving a keynote address, which I hope to be able to get to.

Our sister website MyCustomer.com is sponsoring the CRM Theatre at the show. The theatre will be hosting several seminars by leading experts including representatives of Salesforce, Oracle, SAS and Microsoft. Sift Media, the publisher of UKBF, also has a stand so do pop by and say hello!

I really enjoy going to exhibitions. Not just for all the free pens and mugs (though there is a kind of perverse pleasure in coming home with bags stuffed full of freebies) - I love talking to the exhibitors and finding out what they do, sourcing new suppliers, finding out about innovative products and services, watching presentations...
