PR service - alternative recommendations?

Hi

I'm looking to get All Top Books noticed more by the media. I have used advertising in the past, but it's obviously nice if you can say on your website something like "as seen in XYZ".

10 Yetis, which I picked up off this site as a recommendation has suggested 2 options:

1 press release with follow up £750
2 press releases, one introducing the company and the second as a follow up with something more topical £950

Both as 50% up front, the rest when they deliver some kind of publicity result (eg press, radio).

To ensure I get the best possible value for money, I was wondering if you were aware of any other good companies that do this type of work? If you do, would you expect their prices to be same, higher or lower?

Thanks for your help.

Dilip Sinha
