I have a number of email addresses (gmail, and two Pop3 e-commerce addresses) and I have set up gmail to gather all the emails.
The problem is that I want to send emails from gmail and change the "from" field so that it shows my e-commerce addresses instead of my gmail address. I have set Gmail up to do this BUT to quote google...
"Your Google Mail address will still be included in your email headers in the sender field, to help prevent your mail from being marked as spam. Most email clients do not display the sender field, though some versions of Microsoft Outlook may display "From on behalf of "."
My customers are retail, and often have hotmail addresses which will always show up my email as coming from my gmail account.
SO, I either need to get round this problem in gmail somehow (unlikely I think)
OR can anyone recommend a good online email host that has these features...
1) allows me to change colour and font of text (so not mail2web)
2) has good functionality (search emails etc),
3) lets me gather all my email accounts in one place
4) large storage
5) Ideally lets me view my mail through igoogle
Any advice much appreciated.
Best Regards
Dominic
P.s I also have a hotmail account with loads of old but important emails in my inbox. I can't find ANY way of transferring these emails to a better host (like gmail) except by forwarding each email one at time - which would take all day! Any ideas?
