If your 'over 55' you can get a place for around £180,000 ... if your under 55... where i live, a small 2 bed flat will set you back nearly £500,000 ....

Have we entered the age of madness? :eek:
 
Yeah..I've been wondering about the retirement home thing, it's the same thing where i live, no idea if this is true but a "bloke in my local pub" reckoned it was because "retirement propertys" charge seriously high anual fees as well as the purchase price....which subs the asking price...might be true/might not !
