Like others have said, don't worry about your PageRank - it's only one of many factors in the ranking process and the PR you see on the toolbar isn't an accurate reflection of your site's actual PR.
Is it for GetQuotes?
If so I think you are unlikely to get someone priced in a way that would offer a good return on the investment. Your site is essentially covering several different (competitive) markets - there's 2 problems there:
1. Individually those markets (games console comparisons, credit cards etc) are competitive and would take a well established and well promoted site to achieve decent results with SEO.
2. While your site has some functionality, the amount of affiliate banners and Adsense will most likely hold it back from achieving anything remotely close to SEO success.
If you were coming to me for a SEO strategy, you would be looking at the better part of £5k - £10k but that would pretty much be telling you how to take your 30 page site and turn it into a 1000 page monster, and that's before my monthly fees for link building.
I'd guess that most agencies and experienced consultants would be round about the same price range.
If you were to go with the lower end of the price range, I'm sure you could get a SEO strategy that would basically just tackle your currrent content and not focus on where you should be aiming for in the medium to long term. This "might" return some results for you, but I think even then you would still be pushed to be able to justify even the low cost.
I'm guessing that you built the site yourself and / or are sufficiently tech savvy to be able to implement SEO work yourself?
If so, I would recommend checking out some serious guides to SEO and think about doing it all yourself. SeoBook.com is an excellent book by Aaron Wall - he's a highly respected SEO and has a great grasp of business - his ebook is well worth the £100 quid or so. From there, begin to implement what you learn and hang around some SEO forums asking for feedback on what you've done so far so you know you're on the right track.
Some good forums (can't post links yet so just Google em!

- v7n
- platinax

- webmasterworld
There are others, but these are the ones I've either learned from or contribute to regularly - all are headed up by excellent, experienced SEOs.
It really depends how you want to approach your business strategy - if you're aiming to simply run the site for as low cost as possible to maximise any profit, then the DIY approach would be better. However, if you intend to expand your site - more products, more information, more of a national focus to it - then I would consider putting money into other areas before SEO - eg content development, graphic design (in some areas - your logo is cool but I think the general page layout needs work) and so on.
From there, a basic PPC campaign could be a good way to kick things off while you weigh the pros and cons of professional SEO services. PPC can be lower cost and much better to measure success - it scales relatively well and can be great for new businesses or projects just starting off.
Other than all that, all I could recommend is stay away from big SEO agencies - even if you won't get much benefit from their services, they will still sell them to you (whilst waving their big brand clients in front of you) and you usually end up with a crappy templated document that all small business clients get.
