Office 2007

Is anyone using Office 2007? What do you think of it?

I only started using it yesterday. I only started using it yesterday and I quite like it!

Re: Office 2007

I was considering upgrading, but I don't see anything really special about it apart from a new interface.

What do you like about it Duane? What extra can you do or what does it do better?

Did you get it free? If it was free it would be good! lol

Re: Office 2007

The UI is a lot slicker- takes some getting used to though!

Re: Office 2007

Got it, like it a lot.

The interface is the major change - much easier to use and the format features for Word are great.

Also the little programme called Groove that comes with it - it's a peer to peer file sharing application - is very useful if you have people scattered everywhere needing to see files

Re: Office 2007

I've not got it yet, but am planning to, particularly for Outlook 2007 with instant search. The amount of time that will save me alone will be worth the money, I reckon.

I was with Microsoft yesterday and recorded some video of demos of some Vista stuff focused at SMEs which you guys might be interested in as well as a bit on Office. Should have them posted early next week.

Re: Office 2007

It's great but make sure you get a legit version as Microsoft won't give you access to any online templates etc - Not that I know myself as all my software is genuine - A friend of a friend told me or something...
Anyway much improved and you can do just about anything in powerpoint.
