For people using Microsoft Office package with word, excel and outlook.
I don't like this method but it's the best solution for normal users and web beginers.
a) Create a list of email addresess in Excel file and save it
b) Open word document write, paint text in email ( whatever)
c) Go to tools > Letters and Mailings > Mail Merger
d) Select "Email message" from mail merger options
e) Click next next next to step 3 of 6 then click browse and select created excel file with list of emails
f) select sheet and column
g) Click next and go to step 6 of 6
h) Click electronic mail and select subject mail format and column inside excel file.
i) click ok
Word, excel and outlook will merge and send newsletter to everybody from the list using your setting from outlook.
This solution is working for:
- Smtp server and domain member using outlook 2003 and Exchange server. I test it also on smtp account with smtp-auth autorization and qmail, postfix server
Simple solution good for small newsletter system. Not good for big one but once I sent 5000 mess to members. It's quick
I like more jetmail, but it's more complicated and cost money.
