Whistle Ink said:I just remembered that when setting up my email addresses I set them up so that a copy would go to another email address that had nothing to do with 1&1 and the emails are there.
Might be worth setting it up when it's all working again or even now if you can.

Utopia Waste said:Have been having problems with my 1and1 email for the past couple of days also. I access my email through outlook but also have them sent to a hotmail account. The emails seam to get through to the hotmail account ok but are very delayed showing up in outlook.
coxadmin said:After the problems I had earlier this week I set up a similar system, which is working, but it's very inconvenient.
I'm considering a change of website and email host.

The phone lines are still in melt down ... haven't got through once over the whole fiasco.

Sue F said:I've been wondering about changing host too ... everyone's entitled to their problems it's how they deal with them that counts and customer service gets a big thumbs down here. The only thing is who to move to ... don't all hosts experience problems at some point?
fastfences said:Hi Lynn,
Is this still happening? I've got no probs - and I'm not being smug. I use Outlook Express but also divert some web domain mail through to Yahoo! and that works all ok as well. I wonder if there's an operating difference between Outlook and Outlook Express.
More curious than anything as to why some are affected (infected?) and I'm not.
Cheers, Nigel

A number of UK customers have experienced some delays in receiving inbound email. Following an important update to our mail server software and the subsequent restart of the mail servers, there have unfortunately been delays in the delivery of incoming email to 1&1 mail boxes.
Any current delay in incoming emails will decrease as full service is restored and emails are delivered.
Emails have been queued and stored and no email will be lost. The outgoing email services are not affected.
