I posted asking for opinions of the site before we changed the look.

Can you have a look at my site again please and see of you think of it so far. There has been some major changes, I still have to get the buttons for 'continue' etc changed and there is still some peach back ground showing in places.

I also need to improve the exisiting images and add larger ones.

Before we go any further I would appreciate some feedback,

Thanks,
Chell

It looks alot better with a white background than it did with the peach one. I know your dp has worked really hard on this but the left column still looks like default oscommerce but it doesn't look bad and I would prefer to be given the choice to enlarge pictures

give your dp a pat on the back from me because I know how hard it is to mod oscommerce

Any suggestions?

I've gotta dash to London for some meetings, but as an initial thought, it seems a great idea for a range of products, but as it's aimed at parents who are buying for children, I would begin by looking at a different colour scheme.

I'll see if I have anytime later to respond more in depth.

I think it looks great!

The new logo is just right - and I like the baby on the buttons and the general feel of the site.

The one thing that I need to know which doesn't appear to be there - what ages are your products suitable for? It would be a good idea to put this information on your front page, and in the product descriptions. For example, is it BSL or 'baby signing', or are these basically the same?

The reason I ask is, my youngest is 2, and from watching Something Special on Cbeebies he can do a few signs (the sign for 'sign', 'fish' and 'tree' and one that I have no idea what he means!). I don't really know if at 2 he is the right age for the dvd's...? Do you know what I mean?

loving the site hada good look around.
As for signing age, any age is good. From birth if you want but I think they say from 6 months? Michelle?
2 is a little old to start but if your child isn't saying all the words then signing is easy and fun to pick up until they can tell you what they want.
I still go to sing and sign classes it's my 4th term and Will is 21 month now.

Thanks, the different methods are outlined here:
http://www.chelltune.co.uk/signing_learn_more.php - I inend to link the titles to the products.

You can sign at any age. BSL is used by over 70,000 Deaf people as their first or prefered language so its never too late to start!

Something Special uses Makaton, again that is on the page linked above. Makaton is just a series of keywords usually used by people who have learning disabilities.

I have noticed that it appears to be easier to rank in the SE for Makaton than BSL or signing.
