Hire a skillful employees and try to use advance techniques for cleaning, do the time management; this is the basic criteria for expanding cleaning business.

A website would be a good thing. I recently needed my grandad's carpets doing. I got a couple of quotes and I found them all on Google.

If you've got a whizz-kid in the family they might be able to slap-up a one-page jobby for you

If you buy the domain name, many of those companies offer you cheap hosting for your site.

two words....

LETTINGS AGENTS

Get on the books as their preferred suppliers and you will get refferals every day, im listed as preffered supplier to three of the high end agents in my area..it brings in lots of steady work, easy empty homes plus you can leave your cards, I usually get at least one extra job per ten cards left in rental properties during a tenancy

Also, have some "we were working at number XX today," cards,post them through the neighbours doors, if your good, you will hopefully get some refferal work from your customers as everyone likes a recommedation, plus they can pop round and actually see your work!

Hi,

Make it nice and easy for you clients to contact you (either by email or phone), you can purchase a local number from somewhere like www.voicehost.co.uk for around £2 per month and make sure you always have a real person at the end of the phone to take bookings. Research shows that most people will simply hang up if they get a voice mail.

The best remedy is to call in a professional cleaner who's knowledgeable about the properties of commercial chemicals, and who has advanced equipment to handle this type of problem.

Use local listings for your business. It helps a lot. Register your directory to local directories and use social networking sites to promote your self.

Vacuum constantly. Not less than 3 times a week. Smudge up spills and spots quickly. Keep cleaning temperatures less than 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Never ever make use of household detergents, chemical brighteners, bleaches, or other alkaline solutions on wool. Avoid "oxy" products. Don't over wet while in cleaning. Use very little water as possible. Dry out the carpet as fast and as completely as you can, right after cleaning.
