1066 Country Fundraisers

On Saturday the 2nd July 2011, 1066 Fundraisers are putting on their inaugural PRETTY IN PINK Ball at AZUR, Marina Pavilions, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.
The purpose of the Ball is to raise money for 3 charities, to eat, dance, have fun and have a chance to network with people from the local business and town communities, and most importantly to celebrate life in general. The evening will be a black (or pink!) tie summer ball with a pink theme! We are hoping to achieve a good return on the ticket sales to maximise our profits. The target is to raise £10,000 for three charities, Cancer Research UK and two local charities, St Michaels Hospice and Friends thru Cancer.
Please note that every single penny raised after costs will be split between the three charities.
We write today for 2 reasons, first to give you the opportunity to assist us in putting the event on by way of sponsorship and secondly to invite you to buy tickets and to advertise the event at your workplace.
The ball is a celebration of life. This fundraiser is to give hope and support to those people fighting illness and to provide finance for the charities which help with the prevention, treatment and aftercare that diseases like cancer require. There will be media interest in the event and we are hoping to get some regional and national coverage in the press nearer the time. If all tickets are sold there will be 300 people at the event on the night.
How to get involved?
Option 1
The idea is to sponsor a table. Instead of table numbers the tables will be labelled as the BUSINESS NAME table. If you would like to sponsor one of the 25-30 tables, we are looking for £100 for each table and in return that table will be the 19 upperlake.co.uk table.
We will advertise your company logo etc on the huge plasma screens in the AZUR during the evening and also put your companys
website link on the 1066 Fundraisers website and acknowledge your generosity.
Option 2
The Raffle. We will be selling raffle tickets in the lead up to the Pretty In Pink Ball with a £500 cash prize amongst others. If you feel that you would be able to donate a prize or prizes, then we are seeking items or vouchers with a value in excess of £50. Raffle ticket prices are £5 each so we are hoping to have prizes which reflect the cost of these tickets.
The Ball ticket price is £50 per head and tables are for 10 people. There will be a sit down 3 course meal with coffee followed by the raffle and live music and dancing. You can buy individual tickets or buy a whole table either privately or for your company.
We are advertsing this event throughout Kent and Sussex
