Standard professional clearance letter

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could guide me on how I could prepare a standard letter to outgoing accountant for my new clients for professional clearance and also requesting for documents which are needed from them?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi - are you a member of any of the accounting bodies?

Your new accountant will do this for you if you ask. I recently changed after 18 years with the same firm, the new one did all the professional clearnace letters etc. all i had to do was pay the final bill before the papers were handed over.

I may be wrong but I think the OP is an accountant asking about a standard letter to send another accountant.
