Because when I'm using a general business forum designed to help people start up or improve their business I don't want pointless advertising posts. If you're interested then go to a travel forum.

The problem with spam posts like that is that there's no 'personality' in it. If the poster actually wrote the advert for this forum then it's poorly done. :)

If had have been more of a 'Hi I'm new here and just started xxx company....feel free to have a look and give me your feedback etc' it just seems like someone who actually intends to contribute as opposed to post once and disappear!

Well thanks for telling spammers they can spam on travel forums :p

I didn't see this as spam though, just reads like a lot of posts in general business part of the forum.
