Dear all,

This is my first post here. After reading thro endless business forums ,i finally decided to start a small travel based business with my friends and after 2 months intense and hard work ,finally most of the work is done.

Kindly give me your opinion regarding the website-www.travelvirus.com which is basically for promoting tpurs to indian subcontinent.

I would highly appreciate all honest opinions.

thanks

Thanks Duane -apologies as i wasnt sure where to post the mails.
I havent done anything yet to promote the website. It completed just yesterday but i am planning to get some flyers printed out and distribute them locally; and to send some emails around to my friends and known to see whether that helps.
However i am unsure as to how to get a national coverage.
Thanks in advance for responses.

It's a very competitive industry to be in so hence difficult (and expensive) to stand out. What is unique about what you are offering compared to your ocmpetitors? Who are your competitors? What do they do to market themselves? PR would be one way to get exposure - have a talk with Andy at www.10yetis.co.uk.

I'm not sure about the name - if I was travelling to India the last thing I'd want is a virus! : )

Like the above liked the site but not sure about the name.
Done lots of walking and trekking holidays and it is a very competetive market at the moment, and I have found many of the sites crash- you need to ensure that irt can cope with demand.
