Been lurking a while and signed up, so I better tell something about me and how things are, right ?
I'm living for 5 years now in Guangzhou, China and it has been quite a ride sofar. Many ups and downs in the beginning and slowly after 4 years things start to pick up a bit. Economy has not moved in our favor I must say these days but slowly I got a more comfortable feeling and some solid ground under my feet. So thats where I am now. I got an office with 6 people, huge production resource and have my own factory now where we make oak engineered flooring, but mainly engineered stair renovation parts. We just focus on Oak and that seems to be working out ok for the moment.
When I do have some time off and I didnt decide it was time for a few drinks then I like to go fishing or carting with my mates here and forget about the pressures of daily life. And of course the pleasures of being married to a Chinese which is a whole subject in and of itself.
