Statutory Accounts with SAGE 50

I think that it's fair to say that any tool like SAP will only produce accurate statutory accounts if the user knows what he or she is doing. You have to post your income and expenses to the correct codes, and even there there can be plenty of disclosures required that aren't directly driven by the trial balance.
We use a different product, but frankly there is no chance that an untrained user could get even close to presentable accounts.

Absolutely agree, I know Sage 50 inside out but I wouldn't go near statutory accounts...
