Anyone ever had success selling an eBook eithers as the author of it or as a reseller?

I ask because I have no clue about this myself and am very curious as I have a pretty solid idea for an eBook which could have a market for it that is also targetable.

Cheers guys

from what i've seen recently the place for E-books is the apple book store, apple are about to dominate the E-book sector like they did "legal" downloadable music and make it much more popular, if it's your own title you may be able to get it on there, but i'm not sure what the T&C's are from apple so it might be worth a look

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments.

I think I can write something that could be genuinely useful so I'll give it a shot!

Any tips or advice?

one suggestion: BEFORE you write anything, do research for: where you can sell it, :)

Join some niche forum, check whether people really need the information, once confirmed this, then write it. and also, join forum and becomes an authority of yoru niche will definitely help you sell.

If you want to publish your book in hard copy, you can do so, from 1 to 1 million copies, or print on demand, on Lulu.

Offering a physical copy of your book, even if no one ever buys it, may give your e-book a little more authority in the eyes of a buyer? Don't know - just a thought.

Check out clickbank, I'm sure you'll find plenty of high volume ebook sellers on there! You may even get some ideas for some niche markets :)
