Hi,

A client has just told me that he introduced £x,xxx of assets into the company when it was formed!! Well actually he said they were just there!!

Which I presume he means he introduced them!

Anyway, once introduced as an asset can I then depreciate them?

Bit of a silly question I know but the sun is beating down and I am feeling tired....!! :)

    Yes you can.

Should be introduced at market value. No AIA is claimable as bought from a connected party.
