I am looking to put text in a circle within a white band around my red helicopter logo, what software do i need to do this. Once it is done it will also be used to produce our flight suite arm patchs that will also be a circular shape.

I'll leave the professionals to talk software with you (personaly I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), but I can give you a contact with regards to arm patches - www.terrane.co.uk - 01522 697000 and speak to Terry.

Any vector-based software will do the trick. CorelDRAW, Illustrator, freehand etc.

Use a bitmap image editing program at a push but they don't lend themselves well to embroidery...

Vector all the way. :)
