Difference between a employee and director with NI

Hi,

I have gone and forgotton is there any difference between a director and an employee in terms of what is paid with regards to Employers and Employees NI?

That is over one tax year. As I have just found out that an employee is in fact a director and has been since the start of tax year 09-10!!!

No, not really. Are there any BIKS? Directors tend to get more BIKs than employees.

No they are just a small salary, although not sure what BIKS are?

Have set to 'director' for last month of 09-10

So everything is going to be ok? Cheers for the clarification.
