The Hovercraft Museum Trust's principal trustee mentioned to me that he had difficulty updating their current website. Through my networking connections, I ran across an offer to create a Wordpress Blog and website for the winner of a vote.
As the HMT don't have permanent tenure at HMS Daedalus, they don't qualify for Lottery Funding - which most other Charities do.
Whilst the current website is functional, it's not all it could be, suffers from poor navigation and, crucially, fails to meet certain cross-browser "web standards". A Wordpress Blog and/or Site could well be the answer. A professionally designed website costs well into thousands of pounds - even for a micro site of a few pages - so therefore, they need every financial help they can get.
